High prices were paid for mint boxed, Australian diecast and other toys. Pieces of furniture and collectables were also popular.
However, the highlight of the night was thirty one people bidding for a Bakelite Sheriff Automatic toy pistol with an unusual handle which has a built in whistle. The lot had an estimate of $30 – $60, the bidding was extended several times, and half an hour later, it ended up costing the new owner $335. Fun to watch.
We are currently working on our next auction which will include a collection of LP records, many Australian. plus other collectables.
Prices achieved are included in the photo descriptions under.
